What an amazing community we live in! We have very generous donors who offer their gently used books all year long, which tireless volunteers sort and box awaiting our semi-annual sales. We have strong and dedicated volunteers who then transport, unbox, and display the books. We have a supportive and very patient library staff who puts up with major disruptions for a week. We have book lovers who browse and buy books from our overwhelming selection. All of this contributed to another amazing book sale. We raised $10,660 with a record breaking bag sale day!

And why do we do this? To support our incredible, award-winning town library! The funds from our book-sales and Friends Memberships all support activities at the library. Offerings such as Sunday concerts, museum passes, adult & children’s programs, the summer reading program, as well as professional development training for the library staff. We should all take pride in our library!
