Friends of the Cheshire Library “Pop Up” Book Sale March 15-16
Spring has sprung and it’s time to stock up on more reading!
The Friends of the Cheshire Library are excited to announce their first “Pop Up” Book Sale which will be held March 15th and 16th in the library lobby. The book sale features a variety of genres including fiction, house & garden, large print and children’s titles all available in both hard and soft cover. A selection of DVDs, CDs and Audio Books will also be available. Friends of the Cheshire Library Book Sale Chairwoman Nancy DeFrancesco remarked, “Patrons can can take advantage of this Spring Pop Up sale and select from a great variety of titles. We will be set up in the library lobby from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on Friday March 15th and Saturday March 16th.” We hope to see you there!

Since 1887, the Friends of the Cheshire Public Library have worked to meet the funding needs of the library. The Friends provide programs, equipment, and services that would not be available through the library’s operational budget.

Did you know...?
- The Friends organize and run an ongoing book sale in the lobby of the library.
- The Friends provide the bulk of the Library’s staff support funding.
- Library events are not funded by your tax dollars. They are funded 100% by the Friends of the Library.
The Friends also...
- Act as advocates for the Library locally and statewide
- Organize and run the annual Library book sale and other fundraisers
- Assist in staff development and enrichment by providing funds for staff to attend workshops, meetings and conferences.
